Still in my exam period. 2 down, 2 to go. The past couple of weeks have been quite repetetive – spending every day at uni, and going out celebrating finished exams (or just taking a break from the preparations) with beer and fellow students.
Not much more to it.
My last exam is December 21st.
And btw, there is SO much snow here nowadays. Not really a newsflash, though – considering I live in Norway.

I am starting my exam preparations tomorrow, going to uni to practice. YES, ON A SATURDAY.
I am not sure how I’m going to manage to learn everything before the exams, my motivation has been non-existing since I started on my MSc (sivilingeniørgrad) in August. And I’m so tired…
Oh well, here’s a fresh proof that I’m alive:
So cold here nowadays. When I got up this morning it was -9.5 degrees celsius. Someone please send some heat up to Norway?
Been a while since I updated the blog. And since I call this an ART BLOG but don’t have time to draw nowadays – I’m going to show you some old art! This time, I chose art from 2003, when I was 15.
I had lots of inspiration at that time, and most importantly MORE SPARE TIME (I miss that..), so I have lots of drawings from that year. Im going to show you a selection of them.
2003 was also the year when I first started publishing my drawings online, at Elfwood.
One of the first drawings I ever showed online. Nice hair color *cough*…
I was quite fond of elves at that time. =P I remember drawing this one in the cover of one of my notebooks at school during classes, using a green colored pencil only.
Not much to say about this one, but I remember I was quite happy with the colors in it. =P I desperately needed some anatomy studies, though.
Look, I drew a GUY!! Lol. Anyway, I was inspired by Tidus from FFX when I drew him. And I remember it was a bloody pain in the ass coloring it all using colored pencils. The black pencil was really small when I finished it….
I was very satisfied with how this turned out, I remember! AND, I was so happy when I got a “Mod’s choice” on this one at Elfwood. Featured at the front page and stuff, haha.
I don’t understand how I actually had the patience to color whole drawings using colored pencils…
A siren. Not much more to say about this one, really..
I think I drew this one using a gal in a commercial as reference. Hmmm… don’t remember which one. No, WAIT! After some serious, intense digging in my mind for 2-3 minutes I remember it was a cacharel commercial, and after some googling I found it: CLICK HERE I really need to stop remembering such pointless stuff. It was 7 bloody years ago!
I just saw this documentary on TV today.
From BBC:

I just found this documentary so shocking, inspiring and tremendously sad – how can people be so severely EVIL?

Svaret mitt var kanskje en smule dumt, i og med at jeg kunne betalt 15 kr i stedet for 30.
Uansett – man får barnebillett til og med man er 15 år – og jeg er 22… Og dette har skjedd flere ganger, dog ikke i det siste. Men slik er det vel å være lita!

When I was paying for my ticket at the bus this morning, the bus driver asked if I’m having a children’s or adult’s ticket.
And I just “HAHA, aaaaduult!”
He: “Hehe OK, not always easy to see!”
If I were a bit smarter, though, I could have gotten a bus ride for half the price…
However, one may get a children’s ticket until you turn 16. And I’m 22…
That has actually happened to me some times before, but not for a while. But well, I guess that’s how it is to be kinda tiny. 😉
But now it’s weekend, finally – and I’m making lasagna tonight! Have a nice weekend!

I don’t know if I can write about my life nowadays without is sounding extremely whiney. There’s so much to do at uni – there really is a difference between taking a BSc and a MSc.
But in short terms, this is what’s new or going through my mind right now:
– I went to a party at uni (NTNU) on Friday. Party for the Department of Chemical Engineering! It was so much fun. Everyone were so nicely dressed, and the party took place AT uni, with all kinds of people from the department – master students, doctorate students, administrative staff and professors etc.
– I went to a concert on Saturday at the UFFA house (UFFA = ungdom for fri aktivitet = youth for free activity) with the Norwegian bands “Explicit Licks” and “Rehab Royale”. My little sister talked me into it – if it wasn’t for her, I would never have stepped inside that place. I’ve never ever felt so tremendously misplaced in my entire life (most people who hang there are more “alternative”, if you know what I mean), but I really liked the music and had an overall nice experience!
– I think I am starting to really like the course “Process Control”.
– Sleep has not been on the top of my priority list the past couple of days, to put it mildly. But when I came home today, at 9 pm after 13-14 hours of work, I wrapped myself up in a blanket on the sofa with 3 pillows and just went to sleep for a couple of hours. OH GLORY, HOW NICE IT WAS
– There are MUSHROOMS in our garden now! You know, me and my fascination for mushrooms.. They’re so cute!
– I’m fucking thirsty right now. Most likely due to the mashed potatoes I ate for dinner. So healthy….
– Crap, I have to pay my rent and internet bill today/tomorrow.
– I really miss HiST.
– I think winter is really coming. Really soon. Just look:
Wow, this turned out very interesting *cough*. Maybe you understand why I’m not very active internet-wise nowadays…
I gotta go to sleep now. My eyes are so sore due to the lack of sleep. Can’t stare at the computer screen, it hurts!
Since I’m not making a lot of art nowadays, maybe I’ll do one of those “old art”-blogposts soon. If I get the time, energy and/or inspiration. And if someone’s interested.
Oh, and I cut my hair slightly.
